The monthly Executive meeting is held on the first Tuesday of each month. The monthly Parent meeting is held on the third Tuesday of each month. Input from all participants is welcome.
Our casino was held in September 2008 and was a great success.
Our annual Competition and Ceilidh occurred in March 2009. The entire day was well received with music making starting early in the morning and continuing into the wee hours of the night. Plans for next year are already underway.
The OLPB and individual members participate in a number of highland games including Calgary, Canmore, High River,Red Deer and beyond.
Members of the band pick up their instruments and for a small fee make Mother's Day a memorable experience by providing a private concert to mothers in their homes.
Each fall we gather for a fun filled weekend to hone our musical skills and bond as a band. Dates will be posted in the fall.
Members of the Ogden Legion Pipe Band sell poppies each year to help to raise funds to support the Legion's veterans.
The OLPB participates in Remembrance Day ceremonies at the Legion each year.
